Rules & Regulations 1. For Mister USofA MI, contestants must be born female and MUST be 21 years of age by the Contestant Registration of the National Contest. 2. Judging for preliminary nights will be on total point’s accumulated system. Final night will be scored using the standard USofA comparative scoring system. Any ties will be broken by the contestant with the highest talent score. 3. Contestants will be judged in the following categories: Personal Interview, Talent, and Creative Evening Wear. 4. Talent presentation will be limited to seven (7) minutes. Prop setup and teardown will be limited to five (5) minutes total. Talent presentations will be timed at rehearsals. Presentations over seven (7) minutes will have administrative points deducted. 5. Any type of talent presentation is acceptable except those that cause injury to the audience or any other person. Loose Glitter, fire, water or any type of liquid may NOT be used in any talent presentation. No live animals will be allowed in any talent presentation. 6. The use or dispensing of illegal drugs, including marijuana, will not be tolerated while a contestant is participating in the Official Mister USofA MI Contest. Immediate disqualification will result for those who break this rule. 7. Any contestant that is not at the appointed place at the appointed time will lose administrative points. 8. Any contestant, contestant’s dancer(s), helper(s), etc. who is caught in the act of stealing or tampering with another person's property will be disqualified and removed from the location of the Contest and the host hotel. (If contestant escorted from host hotel they will be disqualified) 9. The Official Mister USofA MI Contest does not discriminate against entertainers with mastectomies or the use of hormones. Any judge scoring the contestants will not consider contestants with mastectomies and/or using hormones. 10. Mister USofA MI will be required to sign a contract with USofA Pageants before any prize money is paid. Failure to sign the contract will mean forfeiture of the title. The contract is enclosed. Please review it so that you are familiar with it. 11. USofA Pageants and Brenda Quayle, the National Promoter for the Mister USofA MI Contest, reserves the right to make any decision concerning any matter not covered by these Rules and Regulations. 12. Any contestant that qualifies for Nationals and fails to attend will be placed on the barred list (for three years) and will not be allowed to compete in, entertain at, judge or attend any USofA event until they have returned their prize package (including all cash received) to their respective promoter and paid a $125 fine to the USofA National Office.
